The book and publishing industry is a daunting one, yet at the same time, it can be quite lucrative. If you are a writer, you have the world to compete with. There are many writers out there who've written the best American novel. But the truth is, only a handful of these writers make it to the bestsellers list. So the question is, do you have what it takes to make it? Ultimately, you'll have to answer these questions:

  1. Do you have a reason to write?
  2. Do you have a story to tell?
  3. Do you want to make writing your career?
  4. Do you want your book published?

If your answer is YES for all of the above, then you'll have to answer this final question: How will you want your book published?
